Global Entrepreneurship Week is an initiative of the Kauffman
Foundation designed to inspire, connect, inform, mentor,
and engage the next generation of entrepreneurs.
MIT is brimming with current and future entrepreneurs. We
hope you can join the numerous MIT student
organizations and departments at any of the Global
E-Week @ MIT events and celebrate the entrepreneurial
culture that permeates our campus and community.

The program will open with a brief overview of the MIT Energy
Initiative (MITEI) by Daniel Enderton, Executive Director of
MITEI's Sustainable Energy Revolution Program, and will highlight
the breadth of research, education, campus energy, and outreach
activities underway as part of the Initiative. Following this,
Professor Alex Slocum, Neil and Jane Pappalardo Professor of
Mechanical Engineering will provide a peek into his innovative
research on new concepts for combined renewable energy generation
and storage.

of Energy can help get pilot projects off the ground through programs like

in supporting clean energy projects, thereby kick-starting innovation and
entrepreneurship.
