Student Groups

As MIT's most valuable resource, students have the opportunity to become involved with numerous organizations dedicated to enhancing their experience and education.

MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition

The $100K Competition is designed to encourage students and researchers in the MIT community to act on their talent, ideas and energy to produce tomorrow's leading firms. The refinement process of the Competition, its network of mentors, investors and potential partners, and the cash prizes awarded have helped many of these teams to act on their dreams and build their own companies and fortunes.

MIT Entrepreneurs Club

The E-Club was formed to encourage MIT and Harvard students, faculty, staff, alumni and select professionals to discuss and develop all aspects of science and technology business creation.

MIT Science and Engineering Business Club

This club provides undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral members of MIT a selection of events featuring speakers and panelists who explore how to achieve a strong business career with a science and engineering background.

MIT Innovation Club

The MIT Innovation Club seeks to understand innovation as a science and practice of generating and implementing new ideas. In this pursuit, the Club engages students, faculty, and the business community through interactive programs such as IdeaExchange brainstorms, Tech Testbeds, Innovation Experiments, and more. The Club helps its members generate innovative ideas, commercialize new technologies, and develop the skills that can make a difference between success and failure in a start-up or an established company.

MIT TechLink

A networking organization for graduate students across all areas at MIT focused on bringing graduate students, alumni, and professionals together to collaborate, explore new research, and foster innovative and entrepreneurial ideas. With more than 1200 members, TechLink is the largest intercollegiate cross-disciplinary student organization in the MIT community.

MIT Entrepreneurship Society

The E Society's mission is to establish an entrepreneurial support network among MIT students and recent alumni, and to promote productive interaction with MIT faculty, staff, students, and MIT-related new ventures.

MIT Technology & Culture Forum

The Technology and Culture Forum at MIT sponsors lectures and symposia that explore the role of science and technology in promoting positive social, ecological, and economic change. In addition, they stimulate discussion about the ethical implications of scientific discovery and technological innovation.
